Palm branch Images - Free Download on Freepik

Sunday, March 29, our children will participate in the Palm Sunday Processional at the beginning of each service.  All children can meet in the basement to receive a palm and proceed to the mother’s room area where we will lead the children through the sanctuary waving their palms.  It’s a great opportunity to remember Christ’s entry into Jerusalem.

TRINITY’S LUTHERAN EARLY RESPONSE TEAM (LERT)

Following a natural disaster, people with chainsaw skills are in high demand. There are often trees that have fallen or been damaged that need to be cleared before other work can begin.  That’s why LCMS Disaster Response wants to equip Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT) members to provide this service safely and efficiently. For those volunteers who have completed LERT basic training and want to learn more, LCMS Disaster Response periodically organizes special chainsaw training sessions. This training covers personal protective equipment, injury prevention, how to buck and limb fallen trees, and more.  To operate a chainsaw on behalf of the LERT one must complete the LERT Basic Chainsaw course.  Training is approximately $50 per individual and/or $85 per couple.  Course is eight hours in duration (four hrs of classroom instruction and four hours of practical exercise).  Must have steel toe boots to operate the chainsaw.  Those interested contact Jason Burgess by April 12 at 580-658-0994 or email at burgess2006harley@yahoo.com

MARCH OCC NEEDS

In March we collect various quality crafts. Examples are coloring books, sticker/activity books, watercolor sets, wood crafts, playdough, scratch art, stickers, and sewing kits.
