Newsletter/Resources
Dear Trinity Family,
Summer is officially here, and with it comes a fresh season of study, fellowship, and service at Trinity Lutheran Church & School. Our June 2026 Newsletter is filled with reflections on a successful academic year and information on how you can get plugged into our upcoming community events.
This summer, our adult Bible class begins a journey through the book of Genesis. Pastor Dandy invites us to look closely at how God’s Word creates and establishes reality, giving purpose, order, and blessing to our bodies, families, vocations, and rest. Join us during the Family Bible Hour on Sundays at 9:15 a.m.
Our 157th school year officially drew to a close this past May with the graduation of seven fantastic eighth-grade students. We also extend our prayers and appreciation to our departing staff and to Mrs. Lori Leonardi, who was honored by the Atchison Rotary Club as the 2026 Trinity Teacher of the Year!
We are actively collecting items for two vital mercy ministries this month:
Trinity Food Pantry: Due to rising costs, our pantry needs restocking. We are accepting specific items, including canned meats, pancake mix, shelf-stable milk, and toiletries. Please drop donations off at the church office.
Theodora Circle Layette Kits: Help support new mothers globally through the Orphan Grain Train by donating cloth diapers, blankets, sleepers, and onesies to the collection box in the Narthex.
June 7: New Member Potluck following morning services
June 11: Royals Bus Trip
June 22: Community Blood Drive in the Parish Hall (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
July 18: Amelia Earhart Fun Run/Walk (Gather with us for a group photo!)
For full ministry schedules, wedding anniversaries, milestone birthdays, and an essential health note on summer hydration from Marcene Selberg, please read the complete printed newsletter or pick up a copy in the Narthex.
We look forward to walking together with you in worship and study this summer!
